Wizard's Quest

Something wicked has come to pass. One night's length it shall last. Heed be took or else to fail. Protect yourself with a spell. The candle light, while dim does cloak. Magic amidst its curling smoke. Light enough to hold back the night. Whilst evils deeds do take flight. Screams and calls of wild and tame. Tell us we must start the game. Keep safe this ole Hollow's Eve. From dangers a midsts those wicked deeds. Speak to me o things of night. Spread thy wings to air take flight. Sweep thee across these darkened lands. Take this your night, your earthen plans. You have but one night to play and hold. As Earthbound spirits and deeds unfold. At dawn's gleam you must be done. Or wait a year for the falling sun. Away I call you in your flight. Do not pass thee near my sight. Ask that you may have your fun. But away from me, this shall be done. -- Aine 2009
